My Fall 2009 Shopping List

There is something about fall that gets me really excited. Maybe it's the fresh cool brisk air that causes me to throw on a jacket and put on my boots that makes me feel alive! I think of it as a time of new beginnings, so let a new shopping season commence! The fall fashion trends this year are perfect for me. I love to layer so I'm excited to wear just about every cardigan I own this season (you can find a cardigan in any color and shape at Uniqlo). Fall wouldn't be fall (at least in NYC) without boots. I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of over the knee boots (GUESS "Rumala" are a really cute pair) and a pair of cute little booties (Via Spiga "Paven" are my faves) to wear with tights, leggings, and of course super skinny jeans (check out the Serena's by MAVI). I'm also in search of the perfect leather motorcycle jacket (UrbanOutfitters has a great selection of real and faux). I knew I should have kept the one I had in high school but we live and we learn. If there's one trend you can't go wrong with this fall it's anything studded. From ballet flats, headbands, or hand-bags studs are the way to go for accessories this fall (check out the cool Christopher Kane collection at TopShop!). Well my shopping journey has begun, good luck on yours!

  1. I love the fall fashion pointers you give in this blog. I just purchased my knee boots for this year (birthday gift) and as been purchasing the glittery and studded accessories. Its great having a fashionista as a niece.
